Alliterative academic observation of the afternoon

I wish that prestigious presses would proofread in proportion to their prices.

(Not that inexpensive books should be poorly proofed, but I really can't be having missing articles and prepositions or it's/its errors in bankruptcy-inducing books.  I wonder if shifting to digital publication might free up some cash to improve the actual presentation of the text...)
