Bookcase blogging, ongoing (still without the bookcases)

The library has now been repainted (the color is called, of all things, "Something Blue") and the hardwood floor refinished.  Tomorrow, the moldings will be reattached, along with the outlet covers and the currently-absent heating vent.   

The rolltop has found a new home in the office--a state of affairs which has met with great approval from Victoria, who appreciates the newfound vantage point for supervising my work on Victorian anti-Catholic sermons.  As you can see in this photograph, she finds it tremendously exciting.  Stimulating, even.
