Bookcase-related observation of the day

It is very difficult to sell bookcases that stand seven feet tall.  Especially when your potential buyers may be living in houses with ceilings of seven feet or less.  (Not joking: many of the older houses in this region were built with extremely low ceilings, the better to conserve heat during the winter.)
