In a dark wood of bookcases wandering

Look, bookcases! (In shrink wrap.)  Obviously, they have to be moved around and/or bolted together.

An unwrapped bookcase (haven't put the shelves in yet), plus inquisitive feline.  The bookcases are made out of poplar:

The top of the bookcase has built-in bookends so that it can act as another shelf:

UPDATE: The bookcases in approximately final position.  The "stacks" are not yet bolted to either each other or the wall.
