In which common sense appears to be absent

1.  You are digitizing something for Google Books.
2.  That something has multiple volumes.
3.  (Especially if that something is a Victorian novel.)
4.  Would it not be a good idea to digitize the entire novel, as opposed to random volume X and no other?
