Short on Longsword

Once upon a time, I heard a rumor (in comments on this very blog, I do believe) that somebody was planning to do a scholarly edition of Thomas Leland's Longsword, Earl of Salisbury (1762).  Did this ever come to fruition, or did the project just lapse?
