- James Britten, The Catholic's Library of Tales and Poems, Vol. II (Catholic Truth Society, 1888). A somewhat miscellaneous anthology that includes contemporary authors (Rosa Mulholland, Stella Austin, A. F. North, W. H. Cologan, J. H. Newman...) alongside canonical figures (Chaucer--it would be the Prioress' Tale...) and some people who would have been astonished to find themselves in here (Carlyle?!). (AbeBooks)
