  • [Sarah Maria Fry],  The Little Watercress Sellers (American Sunday-School Union, n.d.).  Two impoverished London children meet with a benefactress and learn the usual lessons.  A heavily edited version (according to the front matter) of the RTS original.  Fry wrote a number of novellas about the sufferings of working-class children.   • The Lady at the Farm House; Or, Religion the Best Friend in Trouble (American Sunday-School Union, n.d.).  Family undergoes the usual trials; features an angelic child dying, well, angelically.  First published in 1828.  (eBay)
  • [George Eliel Sargent], Winside Farm; Or, the History of the Spensers (American Sunday-School Union, n.d.).  A Christian man buys a farm, brings his wife, and tries to evangelize the recalcitrant local population.  US reprint of The Spensers; Or, the Chronicles of a Country Hamlet (c. 1861).  (eBay)
