  • The Marvellous Escape of "Sister Lucy," and Her Awful Disclosures Respecting New Hall Convent, Boreham, Essex, 6th ed. (Protestant Evangelical Mission, c. 1868). A short "Nunnery Question" tract, first published in 1865; the title is an obvious allusion to the Awful Disclosures of Maria Monk.

  • Alison Smith, Exposed: The Victorian Nude (Tate, 2001). Catalog for a Tate Museum exhibition of a couple years back.

  • Victoria Olsen, From Life: Julia Margaret Cameron and Victorian Photography (Palgrave Macmillan, 2003). New biography of the famed photographer.
