Three Discoveries Made Using Library Thing
[4017 books cataloged so far...]
1. I have two copies of Ouida's In a Winter City, for reasons which escape me. (Or did, rather, as I'm about to give one of them away.) I'm not even sure why I have one copy of this novel.
2. What was James C. Simmons' The Novelist as Historian doing inside Larry Rothfield's Vital Signs? Having its pulse taken?
3. I've long since admitted to myself that my skills in the higher math (i.e., anything other than addition, and sometimes not even that) are not all that they could be. Still, as an English professor, I ought to be able to alphabetize. So why are several of my shelves out of order? Sheesh.
