Fall 2015, the Sabbaticalization: Day Five

1) Reading: All of George Worth's Macmillan's Magazine, 1859-1907. I haven't had a pressing reason to study the history of periodicals in a while, so I'm catching up; the first chapter of Book Three is almost entirely about periodical criticism, which tends to be a bit of a minefield in the Victorian period (one has to keep one's journals and their politics/religious affiliations straight...).  

2) Writing: A temporary shift in focus to deal with an upcoming conference proposal deadline.  I didn't do any conferencing during the last school year, as I needed the money for the UK trip, but it's time to start getting out and about again.
