Fall 2015, the Sabbaticalization: Day One

Time and tide are certainly not waiting for my new contact lens (which has been ordered, and I'm desperately trying to avoid thinking about how much it's going to cost).  So: on sabbatical this semester! This means that Book Three is now officially in progress (cue all available pom-poms).  And look, I have a blog with which to keep myself on track.

Day one:

1) Read all of Daniel White's From Little London to Little Bengal.

2) Went to the library (ah, yes, that place with physical books...), mostly grabbing books having to do with 19th-c. educational/psychological effects of reading on the brain.

3) Mostly finished identifying the sources for chapter one.

4) Realized that I had been asking the wrong question, and reformulated appropriately.
