Fall 2015, the Sabbaticalization: Day Ten

1) Reading: Finished A Long Probation, about which I'm writing a blog post.  It's a failure, but it's a failure with aspirations, which is something.

2) Writing: Let the chapter sit for the day.  Tomorrow, I'll return to it and clarify the argument's direction before going on to the 1830s and 1840s.  The chapter will end, I'm thinking, with Eliot's famous "Silly Novels by Lady Novelists" essay.  I also need to finish that conference paper proposal.
